How to Verifying AlertPay account ?

alertpay bannerFor all those who need to verify their AlertPay account, and do not know how or do not have international credit card to do so, this post will present the latest news regarding this case.

AlertPay recently presented a new fully automated process for auditing the members accounts that will make life easier for those who have few alternatives, adding the possibility of the verification to be made from a mobile phone!

AVAILABLE METHODS FOR ALERTPAY ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
The methods currently available are then:
  • Verification using a bank account - consists of adding your bank account details to your AlertPay account, receiving two micro deposits in your bank account (under $0.15 each) and confirming them. This will take no longer than 5 business days.
    .
  • Verification with credit card - AlertPay will send $0.01 to your Visa or MasterCard. A six-digit code will appear on your credit card statement next to the micro payment. You will have to confirm this code in your AlertPay account. If you have an American Express card, a refundable amount between $1.00-2.00 will be charged to your card. You will have to confirm the exact amount in your AlertPay account.
    .
  • Verification with phone (NEW) - is the simplest procedure. All you have to do is choose or enter a phone number (mobile and land lines only), wait a few moments to receive a code by phone call or text and enter the code in your AlertPay account. That's all!
United States members must complete at least two of these methods, other International members only need no complete one.

MEMBERS WITH BUSINESS ACCOUNT
For members with business account is still necessary submit further proof of identity (copy of an invoice for example).

The account is verified by AlertPay within 5 business days and from there you get an account more secure, faster deposits and withdrawals, higher transaction limits and no limit on quantity of transactions!

To verify your account go to "Profile" - "Personal" - "Verification".

Guide to open disputes in AlertPay and recover the money.

alertpay bannerUnfortunately not all PTC or PTR websites out there are honest to their members, and there is nothing worse than realizing that after we had invested our money on the site.

But if such investment is made through AlertPay, we have the opportunity to try to recover it by starting a dispute following instructions in this guide.

Instructions in this guide to start disputes in AlertPay can be used to recover money invested in PT (Paid To) or HYIP websites or any other service/product unsuccessful purchased through this processor of payments.

WHAT TO DO TO START A DISPUTE
To start the dispute we have to get in touch with AlertPay executives through a well structured email, written in English, without using TEXT IN CAPS or making any demands, remember that the guilt of having lost money is not AlertPay.

Do not expect to be able to recover your disproportionate costs, you just gonna get the money invested and not recovered as planned with the website.

PRIOR STEPS TO OPPEN A DISPUTE
AlertPay has a clearly and precisely policy for disputes where they require some preliminary steps that can not be omitted, these are:
  1. Verify that the deadlines for payment given in the website Terms of Service have actually expired;
  2. Try to contact the website admin by all means available on the page (tickets system, contact form, forum, etc);
  3. If after these two steps the situation remains the same, and if your payment to the website was made within 30 days, the dispute may be started.
WHERE TO FIND THE DISPUTES SECTION ON ALERTPAY
To find the disputes section within the site AlertPay simply follow the instructions (with links to print screens of the steps):
  1. Login to your AlertPay account;
  2. Click on "Help";
  3. Click on "Submit a Ticket"
  4. On the option "Select Department" choose "Security/File a Report" and then click "Next";
  5. On the section "General Information" type your name (if you are the account holder) and the email for reply that must be the same registered in your AlertPay account;
  6. On the section "Security/File Report", in "Topic", select "User Agreement Violation" while in "Website URL" you have to write the address of the website that has not fulfilled its part of the deal;
  7. On "Message Details" section, in "Subject", write something like "SCAM", or "I was Scammed", or any other variable of this type;
  8. In the message body you have to detail a general overview of your problem in English and don't forget to include your payment transactions (ID reference it's prioritary);
  9. Click in "Submit".
ENDING THE PROCCESS
After completing these steps you only have to wait patiently for an answer from AlertPay, and if everything was done correctly, you will soon receive your money back

This guide was created based on the help given by infovent.

Configuring a Dynadot's domain for a Blogger's blog

In the very beginning, this blog was published on blogspot.com. The original Blog*Spot Address was (is) ciipe-info.blogspot.com. At some point, I decided to publish this blog on my own domain and so I registered www.bceek.com at Dynadot.

After registering my domain, I needed to configure both my Blogger and Dynadot (DNS) settings. This is how:

Configuring Dynadot settings:
  1. Log into your  Dynadot account using your username and password.
  2. Click the DOMAINS tab in the main menu. The main menu looks like this: SUMMARY | DOMAINS | SEARCH | WEB HOSTING | SSL | MY INFO| MESSAGES| MARKET PLACES| FORUMS.
  3. Mark the checkbox next to your domain name (in my case bceek.com) and then click the "Set Name Servers" button in the the "Domain settings" section.
  4. In the new page, make sure you are located in the DNS tab menu. The menu looks like this: NAME SERVERS | PARKING | FORWARDING | STEALTH FORWARDING | DYNADOT HOSTING | DNS | FREE HOSTING | EMAIL FORWARDING.
  5. In the "Domain Record" section: select "Forward" in the "Record Type" combobox and write http://www.yourdomainname.ext (in my case http://www.bceek.com) as your "IP Address or Target Host".
  6. In the "Subdomain Records" section: write www as your first "subdomain"; select "CNAME" in the "Record Type" combobox and write ghs.google.com as your first "IP Address or Target Host". This CNAME record value (ghs.google.com) is  particular to Blogger...so, if your are NOT using Blogger your should use the corresponding CNAME record.
  7. Finally, click "Use Dynadot DNS" button.
Your setting should correspond to something like this:
Configuring a Dynadot's domain for a Blogger's blog

After your Dynadot settings are set, expect a delay of one to three days, before all the DNS servers have been updated. I suggest that you wait this time before proceeding to configure the Blogger settings.

Configuring Blogger settings:
  1. Tell blogger to use your custom domain. For that go to: Dashboard-> Settings -> Publishing ---> Custom domain ---> Switch to advanced settings.
  2. Enter "Your Domain" name (in my case www.bceek.com) and the captcha "Word Verification".
  3. Finally, click the "Save Settings" button.
 This is how it looks:
Configure a custom domain in Blogger

Well, this is all there is! Is your blog now alive in your custom domain? If it is, then I 'am happy ;-)

Custom domain setting from blogger to dynadot.com DNS Record

Choose Forward and type in your domain name with http://www. on the front, for example: http://www.domain.com

In subdomain, key in www and then choose CNAME and point it to ghs.google.com

Screenshot:

In your Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Publishing > type in your domain name with www. (www.domain.com)

If your domain is not redirecting to its www. address (when you visit a non www address), tick the redirection box.

Previously:
I know many people who bought their domain name from http://dynadot.com/ had a really hard time setting it to work with Blogger.

You will only see your blog when you type in www. in front of your domain (eg. www.dualtranz.com) but when you type it without www., you'll get a blank page instead.

The solution to that problem:

Choose your domain name and go to Name Server Settings. Then look under Advance Dynadot DNS.

In Domain Record, set Record Type to A and the IP Address to 72.14.207.121

Then in Subdomain Records, type in www at subdomain,
set Record Type to CNAME and type in ghs.google.com at ip address. Lastly, click on Use Dynadot DNS button to confirm your changes. Here's an example:

Now at Blogger, set your custom domain under the Publishing tab and tick the redirect box below your domain name. Click on the following image:

Wait a few hours (some times up to 48 hours) for the DNS to update and you should be able to access your blog when you type in your domain name with or without www.
