How to Find My Modem ID Number
Your modem identification number is a unique alphanumeric code that identifies your modem within your computer system. The modem ID number is also known as the Media Access Control (MAC) address. The modem ID number is recorded by your computer's Internet Service Provider (ISP) as part of your user information. Modem ID numbers are static and are printed on the modem itself---on both internal and external modems. To find your modem ID number, you can do it manually or through your computer's operating system.
