Company info: Panasonic have been a trade name since 1955 and previously traded as Matsushita which in 1944 had reported profits of 1.5 billion yen. Since the launch of their first television in 1935, sales have soared and the Viera brand was then included, bringing high definition, V-Real technology and the Viera Link to the successful range. Panasonic Plasma TV’s are probably the most successful Plasma televisions on the market today and although the Panasonic’s LCD TV’s are successful in their own right the Plasma range has produced some breathtaking images and won awards such as the EISA Best Product Award for the Panasonic TH-50PX600 Plasma Flat Panel TV and many more.
